Built for developers who want control
Simplewala was built because cloud hosting is harder than it needs to be. You shouldn’t need a DevOps team to run a WordPress site or a Node.js API on your own server.
What we’re building
Simplewala is a managed hosting platform that sits between “shared hosting” (too limited) and “raw cloud VPS” (too complex). You get a real Linux server on DigitalOcean or Hetzner with root access — and a portal that handles everything that used to require a sysadmin.
That means: server provisioning, firewall rules, SSL certificates, fail2ban, software installation (WordPress, Node.js, MySQL, PostgreSQL, email), automated backups, and monitoring — all set up correctly from day one and manageable from a web interface.
We believe transparency matters. You can always SSH in, inspect the configuration, and understand exactly what’s running on your server. Nothing is hidden.
How we work
No black boxes
Every action the platform takes on your server is visible in the command log. You can reproduce anything manually via SSH.
Transparent pricing
No per-seat fees, no surprise overages, no enterprise-only features. Pricing is posted publicly and doesn’t change without notice.
Your data, your server
You own your server. You can back up your data to your own storage, SSH in at any time, and leave whenever you want. We don’t lock you in.
Sensible defaults
Every new server starts with a hardened baseline: UFW firewall, fail2ban, unattended security upgrades, and SSH key auth. You get security without configuration.
