What we are
Dashboard-as-a-Service for hosting management
We are a control panel, not a data centre. We do not own servers, we do not resell rack space, and we are not trying to be the cheapest place to rent a virtual machine. When you create a server on Simplewala, it is a real, dedicated cloud VM — and you get root on it.
What we build is everything that sits above that machine: provisioning and hardening, one-click installs for WordPress, databases, email and containers, the nginx routing layer, certificate issuance and renewal, backups, monitoring, and the dashboard that lets a non-technical owner run all of it without opening a terminal.
How we make money
We add a markup to the infrastructure cost, and that markup is the price of the dashboard. It is the only thing we charge. There is no separate subscription, no premium tier, no per-seat or per-mailbox fee, and nothing that unlocks later. One flat monthly price per server, shown before you confirm.
We say this on the pricing page rather than burying it, because the alternative is worse: platforms that advertise a low entry price and then charge again for backups, monitoring, or the API. If you are comfortable configuring nginx, firewalls, mail authentication, and backup jobs yourself, buying direct from a provider will be cheaper — and we would rather tell you that than sell you something you do not need.
Who we build for
Small business owners and operators who need a real server but should not have to become a systems administrator to keep it running — and developers and small agencies who could do all of this by hand, but would rather spend the attention on their application.
How it works
Simplewala runs on DigitalOcean and Microsoft Azure. When you create a server, you get a dedicated VM with Simplewala automation on top. We handle provisioning, hardening, Docker setup, nginx configuration, firewall rules, and software installation so you focus on your application. Which provider and which region are your choice, and our price is the same either way.
What we believe
Simple defaults, full control
We make the right choice by default — Docker containers with resource limits, nginx routing, auto SSL. But you always have SSH access, editable configs, and root control. We don't hide the server from you.
Say what you charge
We take a markup on infrastructure, and that markup is the dashboard fee. We would rather print that on the pricing page than advertise a low entry price and charge again for backups. No fixed tiers, no per-seat fees, every feature included at every server size.
Security is not optional
Every server is hardened automatically: UFW firewall, fail2ban, SSH key auth, unattended security updates, and all containers bind to localhost. These are defaults, not paid extras.
Your data, your server
Your data lives on your VM in the region you chose. Backups stay in the same region. We don't analyze, sell, or hold your data hostage. Full root access at all times.
Built on open source
Docker CE, nginx, Let's Encrypt, Postfix, Dovecot, VictoriaMetrics, Roundcube, and the CNCF Distribution registry. No proprietary lock-in — if you leave, your server still works.
